Leven Viaduct

The project upgraded a historic railway viaduct with innovative scour protection and structural improvements, delivering a safer, faster and more resilient solution for Network Rail in a challenging tidal environment, and setting a new standard for proven, efficient delivery.

Winner of the Small Project Award at the ICE North West Awards 2025.

Caldew Viaduct

The design and build project delivered a robust scour mitigation and repair solution for Network Rail, improving structural resilience and hydraulic conveyance for a critical rail asset on the River Eden.

Wylam Embankment

Works were carried out to stabilise and protect the railway between Newcastle and Carlisle and reinstate the Keelman’s Way footpath at Wylam, through riverbank remediation, rock armour installation and embankment regrading to prevent ongoing erosion from the River Tyne.
