Story Contracting has been appointed to the Pagabo National Framework for Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Enabling Works 2026, a £4.29bn framework managed by Pagabo on behalf of YPO. The four-year framework is Pagabo’s largest infrastructure procurement offering to date.
The framework is available to organisations across local and central government, the NHS, housing, education and blue light sectors, providing a compliant route to procure civil engineering, infrastructure and enabling works projects. It has been designed to connect public sector organisations with experienced contractors capable of collaboratively delivering high-quality outcomes and value for money.
Story Contracting’s appointment reflects the strength of its civil engineering and infrastructure expertise and creates further opportunities to support clients across a range of sectors. Through the framework, Story will work collaboratively with organisations to deliver infrastructure projects that improve connectivity, enhance communities and drive long-term value.

The new framework combines the scope of Pagabo’s previous civil engineering, infrastructure and enabling works offerings, creating a comprehensive procurement solution that supports the delivery of projects across multiple sectors and disciplines. It brings together 111 suppliers across 13 specialist lots.
