Story Contracting welcomes 2021 Apprentice Cohort

This week Story Contracting has welcomed their 2021 cohort of apprentices, with six new starters joining the team:

  • Olivia Elliot – Rail, Roster Admin, studying Business admin at Carlisle College
  • Louis Davidson – Plant, Electrician, studying general engineering at Lakes College
  • Selina Corfield – Construction, General Operative, studying Groundworks at Lakes College
  • Luke Hagen – Construction, General Operative, studying Groundworks at Lakes College
  • Ashton Bell – Construction, General Operative, studying Groundworks at Lakes College
  • Harry Potts – Construction, General Operative, studying Groundworks at Lakes College

The young apprentices will be working their way through a packed schedule of health and safety exercises, courses, and introductory meetings with their mentors.

These apprentice roles at Story Contracting are important for the business in encouraging the recruitment of future talent within the construction industry, whilst also demonstrating our commitment to The 5% Club.

Olivia Elliot, Apprentice Roster Administrator said: “I was attracted to Story because it’s such a phenomenal company. Story supports you with everything you choose to do. I’ve been here seven weeks and I’ve already been given so many opportunities to achieve more.”

Dylan Smith, Learning & Development Advisor said; “We are delighted to welcome the new Apprentices into the Story Contracting family and it’s a pleasure to have them as part of our Early Careers program. Exciting times ahead for our new Apprentices at the start of their Story journey.”
