We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operative to begin their story as part of our Plant Services team based in our Blantyre Depot. We are looking for someone who embodies our values of being hardworking, grounded and proud of the work they do.
The right candidate will need to be detail orientated, possess strong organisational skills and be customer focussed. Key parts of the role will include the provision of a professional and efficient counter service to the Division, delivery and collections to our worksites and general yard duties.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft packages and Plant software
- A full, valid driving license
- Forklift certification (training can be given)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships.
- The ability to show initiative and work unsupervised.
