As an Estimator, reporting to the Senior Estimator within the Pre-Construction Team, you will be involved in delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant tender submissions that meet client expectations and support our commercial success.
We know great candidates don’t always tick every box. If you have a practical, engineering, site-based or construction background and think you’d be a good fit, we encourage you to apply. Previous estimating knowledge is not essential, suitable training on processes and systems will be provided. We are keen to speak to anyone who has relevant experience which will naturally support the role.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full tender process from launch to handover, working closely with operational teams
- First principal pricing – building up rates using labour, plant and material resources
- Sourcing and evaluating subcontractor pricing and availability
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Identifying project risks and mitigation measures
- Keeping detailed records of estimates, bids, suppliers, and industry benchmarks
- Supporting the development of winning strategies for new business opportunities
