We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to come and join our North West team.
We have office locations in Chorley and Carlisle and can be flexible on location - there really has never been a better time to join our business!
We have a number of exciting projects in our North West region including earthworks, structures and building renewals. Although the work we do has a rail/civils construction focus you don’t need to have specific experience in rail or construction to apply. We believe in recruiting the right people for our business and are committed to building diverse teams.
As an Assistant Project Manager you will be involved in the development and planning of our projects. Reporting to a Project Manager and working closely with our site teams, you will play an important role in supporting and ensuring the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of our projects.
Some key responsibilities include;
- Engaging with team members to produce and maintain all project documentation
- Managing activities and monitoring project performance
- Developing relationships with stakeholders
- Agreeing all required access for the works, this can include road closures, track access, land access and station permits
- Providing support during the tender period by documenting access and assisting with the methodology
- Being familiar and keeping close to the project cost to complete and ensure we are being efficient
- Playing an active role in the procurement and management of supply chain partners (SCPs)
