We have a new vacancy for Safety Critical Trainer/Assessor to join our dedicated training department. This will include designing and delivering training to colleagues across Story Contracting and external customers to ensure they are fully effective and competent in their role.
As a Trainer/Assessor, you will support our Health and Safety culture, role model best practice and up hold competence on a day to day basis. This will involve conducting technical training/assessment of our colleagues and providing guidance and advice on any issues.
The courses you will deliver will include all safety critical skills and small tools ranging from PTS and Impact Wrench to Engineering Supervisor and COSS.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex matters using simple language and methods.
You must have strong organisational skills and be focused on delivering objectives and targets. An enthusiastic team player with a desire to continually learn is an essential requirement.
You will have hands on experience of designing and facilitating training and as a qualified trainer/assessor to a minimum of level 3. Essential qualifications would be PTS, MC/CC, COSS ES with an advantage if you hold Safe Work Leader 1 and 2.
