We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resource Planner to join our highly successful team in Carlisle. You will be dedicated to and play a pivotal role in the success and growth of the department. This is a superb role opportunity for the successful candidate to grow their career, development and experiences in an exciting Industry.
Using your experience and excellent organisational skills you will provide resource planning for our contracts from the initial enquiry through to completion. To complete the planning you will be liasing with our clients and suppliers to meet their needs in line with safety and regulatory rules.
Key responsibilities of this role will include.
- Assessing and reviewing client need in order to prepare the resource plan
- Deliver the resource plan ensuring the client, internal teams and all IT systems are updated
- Work with Internal teams, the clients and suppliers to ensure the plan is delivered efficiently and within budget.
- Providing the resource plan in accordance to all Health and Safety rules.
The ideal candidate
You will need to have strong organisational skills, be conscientious and driven and have experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You must also have a personable manner, able to remain calm, logical, and professional at all times whilst dealing with customers, both internal and external. A good telephone manner is important, with the ability to process calls and emails and direct as appropriate.
You will demonstrate experience of people resource management and planning and a good understanding of rail industry standards. Experience of managing suppliers is preferred.
