We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Story Scotland division based from our Blantyre office - and there has never been a better time to join!
Reporting to the Lead Quantity Surveyor, you will manage project costs from concept to completion and through to the end of defects liability, overseeing contractual commitments, challenging and supporting to identify best value solutions.
With excellent communication skills, you will be client focused with the ability to build and manage effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, internal colleagues and supply chain partners.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will ideally hold a commercial qualification and have CVR and Target Cost experience and ideally experience of working within the infrastructure industry, civils and frameworks.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Significant knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience of working proficiently with key cost-based software packages
- Good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and key colleagues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience of working with and managing sub-contractors
