Story Contracting’s housing division Reiver Homes are developing various residential sites in North Cumbria and South Scotland, to build high quality homes. Due to our growth, are now looking for an Assistant Site Manager who would relish the opportunity to be part of this exciting new journey of house building.
As Assistant Site Manager, you will assist in pro-actively manage the day to day on-site construction activities, ensuring the build programme is delivered on time, safely and to our high quality standards. Through strong leadership and motivating the team, including sub-contractors, you will help manage the full construction operation through to property handover.
Key responsibilities will include:
•Assisting in managing and monitoring build plans to meet quality and regulatory standards
•Assisting in promoting an efficient working environment on site whilst ensuring health and safety obligations and standards are met
•Assisting in providing and maintaining accurate records and management information to meet regulatory standards and for commercial purposes
•Building and maintaining effective Client relationships.
We are looking for someone self-motivated, practical and commercially aware. With excellent communication and organisational skills, you will be customer focused with the ability to engage with clients and build relationships.
You will need to have a trade background and working knowledge of the house building industry. This is an ideal opportunity for a tradesperson to progress as full training will be provided. Travelling between sites and office will be essential therefore you must have a driving licence.
In return for your commitment and can-do attitude, you will receive up to £27,000pa (depending on experience) base bonus of 15%, company car or car allowance, pension and healthcare.
