At Story Contracting, wnow have a vacancy for a Full-time Purchase Ledger Apprentice based at our Head Office in Carlisle. 


This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to start their journey to become a Purchase Ledger Administrator, and to play a key part in the ongoing growth and success of our business. 


The Role 


As Purchase Ledger Apprentice, you will work within a small enthusiastic teamproviding a finance service to all our divisions and working closely with suppliers to ensure efficient processing of invoices. 


You will receive training in the whole Purchase Ledger process from other experienced Colleagues working in the department, identifying and resolving queries and dealing with all supplier and internal customers in a professional and helpful manner.  


You will also be supported through studying towards an AAT qualification.  


We are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and an interest in finance and the purchase ledger process. 


The ideal candidate will have a GCSE grade or above in both Maths and English. 


Proficient IT skills, flexible to changing priorities and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy, high volume environment is essential.
