Trainee Buyer
We have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Trainee Buyer to our eastern team based in Normanton, West Yorkshire. The role will support the Rail England division to source and procure goods and services for a wide range of civils projects as part of a knowledgeable and engaging procurement team.
The ideal candidate will be keen to learn and develop new skills, be an analytical thinker and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build good relationships with site teams and the supply chain.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Regional Buyer to procure materials and resources on time and budget to the right quantity and specification standards.
- Establish, maintain and develop relationships with our supply chain.
- Providing support to the wider Procurement teams.
- Opportunity to develop a career in Procurement through CIPS qualifications.
Benefits
Annual salary - £22,000 - £23,000 per annum.
